Technical SEO: foundations for a discoverable website

A sound technical structure helps search engines access and understand content. It does not replace useful content.

Access and organization

Use descriptive URLs, coherent navigation and internal links. Make important pages accessible and keep private areas out of search. Sitemaps and robots rules should reflect this intent.

Metadata and versions

Each page needs its own title and description. Canonical identifies the preferred version. On multilingual sites, hreflang connects equivalent versions without replacing proper content localization.

Monitor without guarantees

Search Console helps identify access and indexing problems. Structured data should describe facts visible on the page. Never invent ratings or results to seek enhanced listings.
